This hemisphere never belonged to any peoples. But the Native Americans belong to this land. Camp Friendly of Sanwhich, MA still has the spirit of the Wompanoag People. The sweat lodge of Camp Friendly welcomes all indigenous and spiritual Native Americans to participate in our weekend ceremonies. We humbly request full participation from the lighting of the fire to the breakdown of the inipe. After the ceremony is complete, it is custom to take a cleansing dip in Little Hog pond and welcome yourself to a bowl of soup and fry bread. Aho!
